Well, The English army had 3 major advantages over the French: 1.) The English had the most powerful army at that time. They were all very well trained and knew how to defeat an enemy. 2.) The English had the most powerful navy at that time. They knew all the sea tactics and had a big navy. 3.) The English had alot of supplies. The common English troop knew how to make guns, bullets, etc. and they were given supplies whenever needed.
The name of the war may be misleading. The war was between the French and English who were fighting over territorial rights in North America. The Indians were allies of the French. The Indians preferred the French because they were more interested in trading furs than in cutting down trees and planting crops .

The French ran as sheep before the hound
The British wanted more land, which the French and Indians had. Britain also wanted control of the fur trade in America. And the French and Indian War would be the deciding war for the end of the Seven Years' War.
I don't believe so. From what I've heard, they lost alot of money on trying to WIN that war. Our Social Studies textbook doesn't mention much about it, but the reason King George III made the sugar act was to pay off the debt from the French and Indian war, so I'm assuming they won because they had to buy many supplies and everything. I was never told who won. Just assume they did.
