Well, The English army had 3 major advantages over the French: 1.) The English had the most powerful army at that time. They were all very well trained and knew how to defeat an enemy. 2.) The English had the most powerful navy at that time. They knew all the sea tactics and had a big navy. 3.) The English had alot of supplies. The common English troop knew how to make guns, bullets, etc. and they were given supplies whenever needed.

∙ 13y agoThe name of the war may be misleading. The war was between the French and English who were fighting over territorial rights in North America. The Indians were allies of the French. The Indians preferred the French because they were more interested in trading furs than in cutting down trees and planting crops .
