Answer:Sikhs are monotheists i.e. they believe in only one God. The Sikhs have great respect for their gurus, the first teachers and leaders of their religion, but gurus are not worshipped. Unlike the other monotheistic religions (Zoroastrianism, Judaism, Christianity and Islam) Sikhs believe in reincarnation until the soul is fit for the presence of God.Sikhs believe in one powerful God.This God is not the Gurus. The Sikhs respect their gurus greatly, but do not worship them. They believe their gurus were the beginners and teachers of the religion.
Sikhs belive that all religions are different pathways to the same god, even thought there are different teachers that helped wiht this. What i mean by teachers is, Muslims would call their teahcers the "Prophets". But in this case the Sikhs would call their teachers "Gurus".

Sikhs do NOT believe that war is the answer to anything;however, the tenth guru Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji's had once said: "when all means have failed it is righteous to raise the sword." Meaning, when all means of peace, justice, equality etc. have failed, then only does one have the right to raise their sword and that too only to fight for justice.
