I don't think desert-adapted animals have long tails. They generally try to stay as small as possible to avoid massive heat build-up.

Animals and plants cannot+ not survive in the desert without each other. The relationship between plants and animals is one of interdependence. Animals seek food and shelter through the desert plants and plants need animals to help them pollinate and grow flowers. However the are some interdepended in desert like ants live in desert soil and Sonoran Desert Toad, Texas Horned Lizard live in under the stone making to get shelter. Bird make there shelter in tree by making nest on trees on desert.
It provides animals in the desert what they need to survive . It gives them food ,some a home and let's the other cactus be there after it dies.
No they cannot. Whales need to have water to live in. But there were whale-like creatures that lived long ago in the deserts. The climate was probably very different then. Those creatures could use their fin-legs to move through water and on land. They also had small and not so strong tails. After a long time, the prehistoric whale-creatures began spending more time in the water and adapted when their legs grew into fins and their tails got more powerful and larger. Now today whales rely on their tails to mostly help propel themselves through the water
they need them for defense, wagging, whipping, and connection

There are quite a few conclusions that can be drawn about desert animals. One is that they do not need a lot of water.
Most do. Some desert animals get all the moisture they need from their diet.No.
Desert animals have had thousands of years to adapt to the harsh environments. Humans and other such animals have not had the chance to adapt to desert climates like all desert animals. In sand deserts, camels -for example- have adapted to the lack of water, and do not need to drink very much fluid and can survive without water for long periods of time. Many other desert animals also have this ability. In snow deserts, many animals have gained long fun coats or think blubber which keeps them warm in the freezing climate and can also help to protect them. They are well prepared, and this is why they do not die because of the desert. Of course, they will eventually die, though.
Desert Tortoise + Rattle Snake = Scale-shelled Rattle Tortiose (Sorry for the long name)
They both have tails that move and are animals. Plus they both need water to live.
Every desert has its hosts of potential problem animals. You need to specify a specific region or desert if you want a specific answer.
