Coming out of the late Ordovician extinction due to large landmasses at the South Pole, the Silurian was a period of a warming environment, likely with large arid areas with high evaporation rates. Maybe look at Silurian paleogeography to get a better idea of what was going on to allow this.
The large high flat land area that lies between the Eastern Ghats and Western Ghats is known as the Deccan Plateau. This plateau is characterized by its elevated terrain and is predominantly made up of volcanic rock, covering a significant portion of southern India. It is bordered by the Eastern Ghats to the east and the Western Ghats to the west, forming a distinct geographical region. The Deccan Plateau is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to various ecosystems.
South America is in the Western Hemisphere.

I Think that western ghats have very high rainfall but eastern stopes have not therefore western ghats have thick vegetation

Sedimentary rocks are found in various regions across India. Major sedimentary rock formations can be found in the Himalayan region, the Western and Eastern Ghats, the Deccan Plateau, and the Indo-Gangetic plain. These rocks provide important clues about the geological history and environmental changes that have occurred in India over millions of years.

Ethnic groups conquered and united lands, forming empires and states which eventually morphed into countries.
The bedrock of the western cordillera is primarily made up of ancient igneous and metamorphic rocks, along with sedimentary rocks that have been uplifted and deformed through tectonic processes. These rocks form the foundation of the mountain ranges in the Western Cordillera, such as the Rockies in North America and the Andes in South America.
