The main reason people move to any location is that is where employment is, Dallas has many companies that hire workers. The D/FW Metroplex is home to a few things that draw people, Dallas Cowboys (football), Texas Rangers (baseball), Dallas Stars (Hockey), Dallas Mavricks (Basketball), two zoos (one in Dallas & one in Fort Worth), home of the national office of the Boy Scouts of America, concerts, shopping, you can find something for almost everyone to do.
