I'm not sure exactly how many adults watch Power Rangers but I am guessing it is not very likely that an adult would be watching it, unless they are watching it with their children.
there is one simpsons movie
As of 2012, there is just one Simpsons movie: The Simpsons Movie (2007).
Well, I mean like when adults are watching kids cartoons it's just not very grown up. Maybe you just enjoy watching it for the memories or for the laughs, but their's other shows for grown ups that are cartoons, such as South Park, Family Guy, Futurama, I grew up with those cartoons, though.
I think it's because early cartoons were aimed at children, specifically. Cartoons nowadays have more adult themes and references than cartoons from the early 1900's to the 1960's. Those were cartoons from a more innocent era. People are more cynical and savvy now. There are plenty of cartoons nowadays that are aimed squarely at teens and adults. 'Family Guy', 'Futurama', 'The Simpsons', and many more, are written with an adult sensibility. I am not, in the least bit, ashamed to view these cartoons. In fact, I often reference them in everyday conversation. Despite all of this, I agree that there is a stigma attached to adults watching animated shows.
There is no statistical data to show how many 'kids' vs 'adults' watch The Simpsons.
I'm not sure that statement is accurate. There are many adults who enjoy cartoons. In fact, some adults find references in them that a child might not entirely understand (the writers of these cartoons understand that parents will be in the audience, so some of the jokes are aimed more at the parents than at the kids). While the majority of adults may not necessarily watch cartoons that are aimed at little kids, classic cartoons like Looney Tunes are still entertaining, and many adults appreciate them.In our culture, we expect adults to be "mature," and historically, cartoons have been considered something associated with children; thus, you may not hear a lot of adults admitting they still enjoy watching cartoons. On the other hand, the popularity of the Cartoon Network's evening programming ("Adult Swim") and programs like Family Guy and the Simpsons certainly show that adults do like to watch cartoons.
They can enjoy it by watching the performance or looking people surrounding them.
In estimate, over 90,000 people are killed by TV a year.
Many adults know that cartoons aren't babyish, and enjoy watching them on a regular basis. Some cartoons are entirely designed to be appreciated on many different levels from toddlers to intellectuals; Rocko's Modern Life, for those who have seen it, is a good example. Additionally, many Japanese anime are often called cartoons and associated with children, but only in the west; in their country of origin, they are known for their true nature and that is quite definitely an adult genre.

Adults enjoy many of the same thing as kids, the lights, family, friends, food and treats, decorating the tree, and baking. As an adult, you tend to gain more of an appreciation for giving throughout the season, which feels very good.
