He doesn't try to seduce her. Matter of factly...as portrayed in the films he is guarding himself on a constant basis around her. She is his drug. Its not a matter of seduction....its a matter of his natural vampire desire and his need for Bella. Yes he wants her , however he wants her in all of the right ways. He respects her.

∙ 13y agoAt the beginning of New Moon you see Bella standing in a field and at the other end is an elderly woman who is supposed to be Bella when she gets old.
After a few minutes Edward comes out from behind a tree and walks up to Bella and kisses her hand, Bella looks in the mirror and sees Edward kissing the hand of the old woman (Bella).
It is supposed to symbolise that Edward will love Bella no matter what, even when she does grow old (which is her one paranoid fear of growing old without Edward) and stay with her forever. Eternal, unconditional Love. Forever.
