∙ 10y agoBecause who in their right mind would want to live in Canada. The "free health care" is not free what so ever. Beer cost 32 dollars for 24 and then 13 % tax. In the USA the same beer cost 20 including tax for 30 beer. Everything you buy in Canada is 25 to 65% higher then in the US. With all this extra cost of living up here is this sh*t country you could buy the best health care available in the US and not have to wait. In fact you get taxed 54% of everything you earn, so you have to live on 46 % of your income. What a great deal, eh? And then there is the freezing cold weather we have to endure. Man I would give up my Citizenship here in a New York minute. I have been banned from the US for ten years. If I could make a deal to move back to the USA and be banned for life from Canada I would not hesitate for one second. I would ask where do I sign. I used to love Canada, but that is because I did not know better. After living in the USA for 22 years I have came to the realization that Canada IS NOT GREAT, ITS ONLY ALRIGHT.
