Canada has to use the point system becasue if not there would be alot of immigrants living here doing nothing, just spending money. there would be ALOT of immigrants. so having the point system, shows Canadian government who would be good to work here
I am currently in grade 10 Canadian History and we learned that the 3 classes are. 1)Family Class: immigrants who come to canada to be with family 2Refugee Class: immigrants who come to canada for freedom 3) Independent class: this class is evaluated according to the points system, which assigns values to attributes to each person based on personal qualities like education and language ability.
Canada started its own honours system with the Order of Canada in 1967, the centennial of Confederation.
In some countries as Canada (ancient British colonies) the degree Fahrenheit is used.
It is not fair that refugees are accepted into Canada faster than independent immigrants who desire to be in the country. The independent immigrant may be a more skilled worker or business immigrant, and may fit requirements of the immigration point system better than the refugee. If not a serious worker, the refugee may become a burden on the countries economy. Making the independent immigrant more deserving. The refugee can also take advantage of the countries taxing and work system and become reliant on the government. Because the government must support the refugee, he or she may not become a strong member of society. The refugee can also be lying about the direct threat to his or her life. He or She may take advantage of the political situation in their home country and enter Canada under false refugee claims. Although the threat to the refugee may be existing, many more deserving independent immigrants are waiting to be accepted into the Canada.
Because they can.

Quota System
The arguments for the quota system are that new immigrants are a threat to the future, New immigrants are difficult to integrate, little land remains for immigrants, American society will be strained by clashes of cultures. Againtst quota system would be that immigrants are not a threat, The languege barrier does not imply menta inferiority, They will be lured by the oppurtunity in America and will work hard.
Peter Whiteford has written: 'Work incentive experiments in the United States and Canada' -- subject(s): Employment, Income maintenance programs, Welfare recipients 'Immigrants and the social security system' -- subject(s): Economic conditions, Immigrants, Social conditions, Social security
There are many benefits of implementing a points system for children's chores. A points system is where a child earns a certain amount of points for each chore he or she does. Then, these points can be used to earn rewards, such as an hour of television. A points system can save money for parents, and the child can get cash for the points or earn free time.
Italy
Illegal immigrants are not properly saying 'covered' in the French health system, but all their basic or urgent demands will be taken care of in hospitals.
The system which places numerical limits on immigration is the "Quota System".

world war two had a positive effect on Canada because it boosted our economic system greatly. It also made women more respected. Canada gets more and more immigrants each year. After World War 2 we had a lot of people from different countries coming and living in Canada. We have gone from mainly farm land to towns and cities.
