I think that she wanted to show that the original prophetic taste was coming to an end with Firestar's death. Also, she wanted to end the series with the cat that started it (as the next series is going back to the start of the Clans). Sometimes the main character must die, even if he is 'the best'.
Erin Hunter (or the four people using a pen name as Erin Hunter) wrote about cats because they all love animals.
No way! Erin Hunter is far from a Satanic Worshiper! In her book series Warriors the cats believe in StarClan, but the Christan people out there need to do their research before assuming this. Anyway, many Christans say that animals have no soul, but how would they know? For the sake of a fight, lets just say that cats can believe what they want, and that Erin Hunter NEVER has said that StarClan truly exists, just trying to write ( what she has accomplished) the 1# new york times best seller. And she has NEVER done any Satanic worship.I am not trying to insult anyone, I am sorry if I have.

Out of all three of the authors behind the Warriors series (Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry and Victoria Holmes) none have public email addresses. However, they are ways to contact the Erins. lol Erin hunter is not one person but 3 people so whose fav colour do you want???
Actually, Erin hunter is not a single person. There are 4 authors, and they all agreed on Erin Hunter so that on shelves they would be close to the Redwall series. So, you might want to ask which erin hunter, because there is Kate Cary, Victoria Holmes, Tui Sutherland, and Cherith Baldry.
Erin Hunter is a pen name for a group of writers so, unless you want to look up a LOT of information on about 4-5 people...
I just reread the book and no one seems to have said that.
SkyClan was originally part of the five clans. They were the tree watchers, eating mostly tree prey like birds and squirrels. However SkyClan's territory was being invaded by two-legs (humans) and the other four Clans did not offer any hospitality or any kind of solution, instead the other four Clans drove SkyClan out. SkyClan went far away to live on their owns, but later SkyClan was nearly wiped out by a band of rats (you can read this in Firestar's Prophecy). However in Firestar's Prophecy, Firestar and Sandstorm go and make the new SkyClan. If you want to know the full story, you can read Firestar's Prophecy by Erin Hunter.

In Into the Wild Firestar comes in as Firepaw and Sandstorm(paw) hates him. She teases him with her friend Dustpelt(paw). When Firestar becomes a warrior Sandstorm hates him more because he becomes a warrior before she did. When she becomes a warrior she shows Firestar(heart) respect and falls in love with him. When Dustpelt still shows no respect for Firestar(heart) Sandstorm turns her back on him. Sandstorm becomes jealous when she remembers that Firestar had a love for the young Starclan medicine cat, Spottedleaf. He still loves Spottedleaf and she loves him back but she doesn't mate with him because she doesn't want to break the warrior code. In Firestar's Quest the two Thunderclan cats mate and have their kits Leafkit and Squirrelkit. Spottedleaf also tells Sandstorm their relationship and Sandstorm doesn't worry anymore.

Because Erin Hunter is a pen name for Kate Cary,Cherith Baldry,Tui Sutherland, and Victoria Holmes as editor;if they wrote all four names including "as editor" that would cover up a lot of the cover and you won't get to see the picture,so they just made Erin Hunter a shorter name for all four of them. If you were an author and you and three other people were writing books, would you want to write so much on the cover?
Oh, dude, joining the Erin Hunter is like trying to join the Avengers - you can't just walk up and be like, "Hey, I'm in!" Erin Hunter is actually a pen name for a group of authors who write the Warriors, Seekers, and Survivors series. So, if you want to join them, you'd have to become a talented author and then maybe they'll invite you to the cool kids' club.
