While all the townspeople were fighting the enchanted objects on the first floor of the castle Gaston left to search the rest of the castle for the Beast. Gaston finally found him in the West Wing. After shooting an arrow at the Beast, Gaston pushed him out of a window and the rest of the battle between the two characters takes place on the roof of the castle.
Gaston is vain, shallow, and stupid. He does not respect Belle as an individual and only wants to marry her because she is the most beautiful girl in the village. When Gaston hears that Belle loves a beast instead of him, he decides to attack Beast's castle and kill him.
The climax is the point of a story where the tension and conflict are at their absolute peak. In Beauty and the Beast, that would be the part where Beauty has left the Beast and the villagers are attacking him. Then, when she comes back and saves him, everything gets wrapped up and that's the denouement.

No he tried but ended up falling of the tower
Gaston was the handsomest man in the village where Belle lived. He was the object of every girl's affections but only had eyes for Belle who, by chance, was the only woman uninterested. Later in the story he is the one who blackmails Belle into marrying him by threatening to lock her father away in an insane asylum. However, after he learns of the Beast, he leads a party down to the castle in an attempt to raid it and kill the Beast. During the fight, combat breaks out between the Beast and Gaston. While the Beast is distracted, he stabs him and nearly kills him. However, the Beast manages to swipe Gaston off the roof, causing him to fall. In some stories, they say Gaston died from the fall. In others, they say he lived on, and in some, they simply say he fell.

Gaston is the very strong, manly, egotistical, sexist and handsome main antagonist of the movie. He is hailed as a local hero and the greatest hunter, desired by many of the young women of his village. Even though many love him, he only wants the best most beautiful girl, and that is Belle. He wants to marry her and will not take no for an answer because "no one says no to Gaston"! But belle Turns him down. Later in the Movie he trys to kill the Beast who Belle now loves.ps, I know it doesn't matter but, Gaston Is my favorite Disney character.
In the context of storytelling, the resolution in "Beauty and the Beast" refers to the conclusion or outcome of the main conflict in the narrative. In this classic fairy tale, the resolution occurs when the Beast is transformed back into a handsome prince through the power of true love, specifically Belle's love for him. This transformation signifies the ultimate resolution of the central conflict in the story, which is the Beast's curse and the redemption of his character.
