Very few people live in Canada's northern region because it is so isolated from the rest of the country, it's climate, and it's lack of buildings and infrastructure. It is difficult to get there and it's a very difficult place to live. The climate is extremely harsh and it is difficult for trucks, planes, etc. to ship in supplies.
