Why electronic devices are good for school?

The reason electronic devices are not allowed in schools is because that it distracts students from their work, such as a phone anyway..but yeah it sucks though :( but yeah i don't see why an mp3 or something like that wouldn't be okay.

people say that electronics shouldn't be allowed because they are a distraction.but if you really think about it they arent they are something for students to do when the they are all done and have nothing else to do. im writing a paper on electronics at school and i say they should be allowed.what if there was a fire and all the phones are insde the kids can call for help.i know i love to work with music.

Electronics is a good topic for school, especially if the student is pursuing an electronics major or, even, any of the hard sciences majors because electronics is fundamental to our knowledge of the atomic structure. :)

Should electronics be allowed at school?

According to "BubbiG, Columbia, MD", she was for it: "First Electronics could help in an emergency! Now I understand that emergency cards are provided for the authority to call in case of a real emergency, but that is depending on the situation! Emergency cards are used if a student passed out, having an Asthma attack or even a seizure. Now an emergency card does not always work. What if the authorities cannot reach anybody on the emergency card? What happens to that student? Now if the child is really sick, having an allergy attack or even injuries; if this student is capable to do so than that student should be allowed to use his or her cell phone. Now I did an interview and I asked an adult "Do you think that electronics should be allowed during school?" The Adult responded "Yes at certain times though, not during class." I also did an observation this was during 4th period! I observed a young lady, who was not feeling well, texting her dad because the teacher wouldn't send her to the nurse. In this situation I believe this was an appropriate move because the teacher would not send the young lady to the nurse to call her dad." Like she said, kids need them in case of emergency, they can help with school work, and electronics help students get motivated, therefore electronics should be allowed.

Depends. Phones and MP3's belong at home or in a bag not in use in the classroom. Computers are useful with the proper uses and so are other tools that can be used to help learning. To make a statement that is a blanket statement concerning something like this dismisses the proper uses and improper uses of devices.

yes i think we should all be able to bring electronics to school so we have something to do at recess and on the bus.
