Mark Johnson, the producer of all three of the movies was interviewed a little while ago and i just found out the the interview has been removed :/ He said that the White Witch is just merely Edmund's worst nightmare at the Dark Island where people's worst nightmares come true. Her part in the movie has been exaggerated and anyone who is worried about her in this movie is overreacting. There is no need for alarm. Hope this helps!
I think The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is the first one when all the Pevensies (Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie) come out, and also, at the next movie, Prince Caspian, all the Pevensies also come out. But at the Voyage of the Dawn Treader (The next movie) only Edmund and Lucy comes out...including Eustace, the Pevensie's cousin. That's all I know...But there might be The Last Battle
Yes, they are currently working on the third film, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. This is based off the fifth book in the Chronicles of Narnia series (the order is The Magician's Nephew, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Horse and His Boy, Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair and The Last Battle.)
The movie that stars Anna Popplewell and Skandar Keynes is the 2005 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. They also starred in the 2008 film The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, and the 2010 film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
That depends....Prince Caspian was not as much of a profitable venture as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. The third book, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, comes out in December of this year. If it does well financially, then the studio will look at going ahead with another book. We're talking millions of dollars in expense here, so being able to cover the movie-making expenses and make a few $$$ for the investors in a big decision. P.S. Folks who have got a look a The Voyage of The dawn Treader movie say that it looks really good, and tracks well with the book. It will be released in 3-D as well as 2-D.
The way it has been adapted in the movie shows aslan diving onto the white witch with her flat on the ground. They dont actually show what happens, but it's assumed that he bites her or mauls her - considering he's a lion.
yes! The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is coming out in 2010.
The character of Peter does not appear in the book The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, so he will not be appearing in the film, except in a very short cameo appearance, as will Anna Popplewell (Susan) and even Tilda Swinton (the White Witch).
