Why would there be? The engine was just barely ticking over, the engine bell was several feet above the ground, there was no air to keep the rocket exhaust into a plume like an upside-down candle, as there is on Earth. Instead, the flame comes out of the bell more in an "open umbrella" shape. The exhaust had less PSI to it than a leaf blower at the time of touchdown, so about all it did was move some of the dust away. A Harrier pushes down a lot harder, but it leaves no crater either!
