The only way that you will be to join with another person will be in split-screen, co-op or multiplayer, but you cannot join split-screen online with two people.

Sadly, no it does not. KillZone 1 does have an campaign, but it is only one (1) player. If you wish to play KillZone with a friend, I suggest KillZone 3. It has both a single player and multiplayer campaign, with an online mode as well. A great choice if I do say so myself.
