Why won't my PS3 controller work on my PC when I used it many times before and I know its plugged in?

I don't have a PS3 but what I've heard is you can't do that. If you've done it before then what probably happened is:
- You need a new driver
- You have just updated your computer and it is too new
- The software that you use is too old
- PS3 is not compatible with your Operating System(Mac, Windows, Linux...)
How to fix:
- Download new driver
- Update software
If those don't work you're out of luck.

It does not take long for it to get enough of a charge for the red lights to work. Plus when the item is plugged in it has power and will work as a controller while it is charging.

it does work if you know how to set it up. for the mic to work you must have the turtle beach plugged into the controller and the xbox. if you dont have those connections then you need to ring turtle beach and ask for replacement parts
