Yes. It's going to be as of May 1, 2017 (the day after Disney puts the Diamond Edition version of Pinocchio back to the Vault). The following movies being escaped from the Disney Vault worldwide include:
These are no longer going to be available for a limited-time only at all in any parts of the world, but rather, they last as long as they want; probably because Disney would not have their policy of releasing any limited-time only releases of its 16 titles in any parts of the world anymore, as of May 2017. Each of these are being escaped from the Disney Vault worldwide to join the other 39 titles, and all of which have their new release versions being in the works by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios, with the following changes being given: "Illegal content being edited out in some movies" (including variations of sexual content already edited out in "The Little Mermaid" and "The Lion King", content for racism being edited out in "Song of the South", content for comic gunplay being edited out in Martins & Coys segment of "Make Mine Music", altering two spoken lines as 100% clean in "Aladdin" using the same voice actors, silhouetted topless woman in "The Rescuers", among others, all of which are being edited out and/or altered by some people working as key animators), "Editing characters in some movies" (which are probably being used by some people working as character editors, examples include: Penny in "The Rescuers", who has to show her whole mouth of teeth instead of having some of her teeth missing; Jenny in "Oliver & Company", whose hair color is going to be just brown, no red tint; Cody in "The Rescuers Down Under", whose color of his eyes is going to be blue instead of green; among others, so that their looks and personalities will be inspired by their new live-action models; those characters are voiced by actors in some movies from the past using archive footage), "Adding sound effects to scenes of each movie" and "Altering sound effects from scenes of each movie" (which are probably being used by some people working as sound effects editors), "Digitally restoring each movie with a better picture quality that would become 100% brightly colorful, and with a better picture quality" (which are probably being used by some Disney people working as key animators). Each movie's new release version has to have opening and closing credit sequences from original releases of each movie, which are being identified as digitally restored and which haven't been shown since the original releases of each movie in theatres across America (and which are without any additional personnel or companies being credited at all), and has to show the completely-updated CGI "Disney Castle" logo from 2006 (again with the words "Walt" and "PICTURES" being re-added to Disney), which appears before the opening credits and after the closing credits to each one (with exceptions being made for 1999's "Tarzan" and "Fantasia 2000", which each keeps a variation of the 1990 blue Disney Castle logo intact, and some movies from the '80s and '90s each have to show both that logo and the 2007 Walt Disney Animation Studios Logo except for 1985's "The Black Cauldron", 1990's "The Rescuers Down Under", 1994's "The Lion King", 1996's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", and 1999's "Tarzan" and "Fantasia 2000", which only show the 2006 Walt Disney Pictures Logo in its 2nd update each before the opening credits and after the closing credits. 41 of the 43 motion pictures from the Disney canon and 2 that are originally from the "Touchstone Pictures" label are being reissued directly to DVD & Blu-ray Disc and HD Digital Video by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment, so that they would be part of their first-generation, non-Disney Vault line called "Walt Disney Special Editions" between 2017 and 2021, with 37 single-film releases and 3 double-film releases being scheduled (approx. 8 each year for 5 years). A collector's edition of the "Walt & El Grupo" collection (which includes the first one of the 2 discs being Saludos Amigos & The Three Caballeros, and the second one being Walt & El Grupo) is also being released in 2018.
It is definitely going to happen in 2015 and 2016, because Disney has plans to escape all titles straight from the Disney Vault. Also, news will be reported and sources will be given very soon.

Although Aladdin is no longer part of the "Disney Vault" cycle of films, the last DVD release (2004) was discontinued in 2008. It has not been announced when Aladdin will next be released.
It was released as a "Special Edition" from the Disney Vaults in October 2004 with higher quality, bonus features, and deleted scenes. But, it was put back into the Disney Vaults in January 2005.
open the vault and get it.
The Lion King will be coming out of the Disney Vault in fall 2011; there is an official trailer that states this. However, there is no official date of its release.

No; Harry Potter was not produced by Disney and therefore Disney does not have the right to lock it in it's vault.
The Disney Vault is a term used for the policy of when they release movies for sale. Movies that are in the vault now include "The Lion King", "Aladdin", and "101 Dalmations".

All of the Walt Disney Classics canon titles will be escaped from the Vault forever in 2017, the fact is that a major TV movie studio is making a 111-minute made-for-TV movie called "Escape from the Disney Vault" (which is being planned for both this year and the next year).

I don't think it was ever in the vault, I just found it. :D no speical edition, just a normal DVD
whenever they need to upgrade, want more money, or just feel like they should be released from the vault
Toy Story is currently in the Disney Vault, the bizarre practice whereby Disney creates artificial scarcity by only releasing their children's DVDs for short periods of time and then taking them out of sales for a moratorium period of up to ten years.Wikipedia entry on Disney Vault (highlights):http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Vault"The "Disney Vault" is the term used by Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment for its policy of putting home video releases of Walt Disney Animation Studios's animated features onmoratorium. Each Disney film is available for purchase for a limited time, after which it is put "in the vault" and not made available for several years until it is released again."
The 3-disc Blu-ray/ DVD Combo Pack will go back into the Disney Vault on March 15, 2011, thanks to MartinS51989. He also says that the 2-disc DVD Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is going back into the Disney Vault on April 30, 2011. Thank you, MartinS51989! If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't know when it will go into the vault.
