i dont think so since the movie explains everything anyone needed to know plus the ending says it all how they end up i mean but if they do im guessing it's going to be with other characters and a similar story which in my opinion would destroy the first movie

∙ 12y agoIt's entirely possible that there may be a "sequel", but instead the author of the books calls it a follow up due to the fact that it's not about Allie and Noah from "The Notebook". Nicholas Sparks wrote a follow up called "The Wedding" which is about Noah and Allie's Daughter or Son.
To know for sure, keep an eye out for "Nicholas Sparks, The Wedding"
