That was the running gag when the show started, that Timmy unrequited love was Trixie Tang, but in the Season Nine episode Finding Emo he really likes Missy and by the end of the episode she tells him she likes him too.

Whether she becomes a recurring character remains to be seen, although 23 episodes & a movie have aired since Finding Emo and she wasn't seen or mentioned so she may have just been a one-time character.

No one knows for sure. Timmy has always had a crush on Trixie. However, In the movie Grow Up Timmy Turner, He falls in love with Tootie. At the end of the Movie Channel Chasers, It shows Timmy's kids. The kids have features of Trixie and Tootie. Channel Chasers does not show Timmy's wife.
