The term "circus" in ancient Rome meant racetrack, not the entertainment event we experience today. However, that is not to say that at times, especially when it would be a long day of racing, that acrobats and clowns entertained the audience between sets of races.
The Circus Maximus did have jugglers, but no clowns. The jugglers would come out with acrobats in between each race/battle, to amuse the crowd as they waited.

The circus is a very popular entertainment and still is today but has much changed from animals in cages and elephants performing to acrobats the clowns were found in 2400 BCE and the circus was found in 1750 because my auntie and uncle performed as acrobats in 1850.
Alliteration is a literary (or "rhetorical") technique that strings a series of words who's initial syllable sounds the same. (fun fact: "syllable sounds the same" is a good example of this technique) To create an alliterative phrase with "circus" you need words that have the same first syllable sound. An example would be: Silly Sally saw a super circus.
curcis is a latin word meaning ring or circle.
That would be resin
I don't know that there is an "official" name, but following the Greek model of most phobia names, fear of circuses should be kuklophobia. Greek letters can be transliterated into English in more than one way, so other possible spellings would be kyklophobia or cyclophobia. "Circus" is actually Latin for "circle." The Greek word for a circle is "kyklos" and presumably that would have been their word for a circus except they didn't have circuses the way the Romans did.
You could see them at a circus or a cabaret or a variety show.

Where: in Candy Land, Ohio When: The 14th century Why: The baboons came to the circus clowns with candy and bragged about it and would not share. Therefore, the circus clowns plotted a revenge!
The circus has an amazing team of acrobats this year.

You would hear a lot of cheering and maybe booing. Between races there was always some sort of entertainment such as acrobats or clowns and all events were accompanied by music.
Clowns as in "Circus" or "Childrens" certainly should eat all their veggies including Broccoli. The fresh water Clown Loach and salt water Clown (Anemone)/(Puffer) fish are not vegetable eaters and so they would not appreciate anyone trying to feed it to them.
The same question could be asked of actors or circus artistes in general. They are all individuals! Some are great company and some would rather be private, like you perhaps.
