you'll either love them or hate them, I'll make this pros and cons, I actually smiled when I saw the title of this question haha.
ok so pros 13-56 are very thick strings as we know, they stay in tune longer than any others, they are naturally louder and way better for low tunings, they cost the same amount which is great. Plus a huge thing for me to switch to them, they almost never break from months of abuse. The high E will last 2-3 months of constant play depending on how much you play.
cons? you may need a set up on your guitar but if you're still a beginner you wont notice much to be honest, don't buy these if you plan on playing in standard they will really hurt your fingers, its harder to play faster on these and you MAY need to file down the nut on your Guitars neck for the high E or low E, but I never had this problem on my BC Rich I went from 10s to 11s right up to 13s.
want to experience 13-56 without buying them? take your regular 10-46 set and don't use the high E in the set , put the guitar in whatever tuning and see if you like it... a 52 low E or whatever you may have laying around could do you some good.
if you have a floyd rose dont get them it requires a spring set up, any other questions though feel free to ask, I've been playing close to 10 years and used every string gauge out there
