The fuse box is located on the left side of the steering column, appr. in front of your left knee undre the dashboard. It will tell you where the fuse is located & the Amp that the fuse is...
Likely, check the fuse panel for blown fuses. if this doesnt solve the problem you likely have a short in the wiring under the dash. you also should check the bulbs for the interior lights, its also possible you have them switched to off, where they wont come on at all. check the one in the center of the vehicle to see if it has a switch, if it does make sure its set to DOOR, check the fuses and bulbs, then if these are all set and it doesnt work have a mechanic check your wiring.
I'd say probably as long as the police officer doesnt have video footage of him traveling past you. A lot of times some people have really bright head lights.

In the Montero Sport , there is no relay. The flasher is located on the left dash by the junction block.

When you press the brakes, the lights brighten up mainly to alert drivers behind you that you are slowing down or stopping. It prevents accidents
You do not have the trailer lights connected properly.

In the back should be tail lights which always come on when the headlights or parking lights are on, and stoplights which come on whenever the brakes are pressed. The stoplights should be brighter than the tail lights, but they should be separate.
