If you want this box set, it should still be in print.
His first album was in 1969 and called "Empty Sky" but there are recordings prior. Recordings date back to when he was in a band called Bluesology (mid-late 60's) and when he went solo (1967) The first song he recorded is called scarecrow. there is an album of unreleased songs from then.
