92 festiva main fusible link blowing only when the car is running Cant figure it out Checked ground etc?
had the same problem... in the alternator are two charcole sticks they ware down after a while and then they ground out on the inside of the alternator. I took mine apart and changed the 2 sticks. this was a lot of work its easier to buy a used alternator. to see if this is your problem just disconect the power wires to the alternator start the call and then see if the fuse blows
