Are Green Day good people

Yes, Green Day totally appropriate for kids. Kids under the age 2 may not listen to them cuz of of their lanuage. But if the child is 3 yrs and up of course it is fine my friend is 4 and he is in love with Green Day it is his fave band!!! But i will admit their song Horseshoes and Hand Grenades should NOT be heard of children under the age of 4. I have loved Green Day since i was 10 they r a great bnad and they will do no harm to ur kids and ur kids will not talk like them if they r raised good to know not to say those. Glad i helped.

I, on the other hand, would say that most of their songs are appropriate for children of secondary school age. I started listening to Green Day when I was 11, and it didn't do me any harm. Of course, it all depends on how willing you are to allow your child to listen to music which contains swearing and some drug references. As for it being depressing, I found it refreshing to hear some music that wasn't all happy all the time, and as a result actually meant something. The world is not always a happy place, and that's something most kids understand.

By the way, in terms of content, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) and Poprocks and Coke do not contain anything unsuitable for kids.

YES!!Green Day is totaly appropriate for kids under 10 i have loved Green Day since i was kid.Yes,Green Day curses a little but it's nothing tht a kids never heard of.Anyway would u rather them listen to Green Day or The Sex Pistols??Green Day they r a christian band cuz they r not sacreligous towards God.A 4year old kid loves Green Day they r his fave band.Tht proves Green Day IS appropriate for little kids.But I will add if they r 5 years and younger they DONT need to listen to then till they r 6 years of age.Hope u trust Green Day and Me.

Yes, although the band does crazy things, they are amazing people at heart. Very caring and true to family,friends and fans! There was one incident where the security guards started messing with the people in the most pit for a reason I am unsure of, and the lead singer stopped the show to tell the security guards to stop! It was cool! If you are speaking of their music, it is very inspirational and I suggest you listen to all of their albums, old and new. :) Hope that helped.
