Yes. Gary Rossington and Artimus Pyle are the only surviving original members of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
most of the members of lynard skynard died years ago in a plane crash......in other words!! there will never be a new album cuz they are freakin dead. This is not really true, Lynyrd Skynyrd (spelled LYNYRD SKYNYRD) reformed around 1990 with Ronnie Van Zant's younger brother Johnny fronting the band. They released their first new album called Lynyrd Skynyrd 1991 followed by The Last Rebel then Twenty, Edge of Forever, and Vicious Cycle. Finally their newest album God and Guns was released in 2009. I will however admit that there have been many line up changes due to deaths of original members and of course members leaving for other reasons, but I can assure you The Lynyrd Skynyrd Band is alive and still going strong and with God and Guns they have reasserted themselves as Gods of Southern Rock!
Hi, all I know is that most of the Lynard Skynard was touring and they were in a plane and the engine gave out so they died in a plane crash but some of the band members I know the drummer didn't go on the plane so he got some friends together and started up Lynard Skynard again. I do not know when though
no He is the only original member of the Temptations still alive.
The original "Street Survivors" album by Lynyrd Skynyrd can vary in price depending on its condition and whether it is a rare or limited edition. On average, a mint condition original pressing of the album can range from $50 to $200 or more. It's important to note that prices can fluctuate based on market demand and the specific version of the album.

four. Gary rossington is the only one who still performs with the band, but to my knowledge ed king, artimus pyle, and bob burns are still alive. However they are not associated with the band today. there are other living people who performed with lynyrd skynyrd at some point, but of the members who contributed to their five studio albums only four survive today

the original members recorded their first album in 1973 and were a band before that well into the 60's. They put together the band when they were young and had some variances in members through the years. although their is only one original member left they are still making CD's which their latest came out in September 2009
