Not really - Johnson guitars are inexpensive guitars that are somewhat suitable for a beginner.

If you mean 'Gibson' . yes they are well known and excellent guitars.

It looks to me like Jaxville guitars seem to be a lower end of the market guitar however, the info I have received seems to make the guitar great for beginners. Brands don't really have as much to do with being for a intermediate player or not, its really about what the guitar is made of, what type of electronics it uses, high action, low action etc. Play it before you buy it, but these are nice sounding guitars all around.
