no eectric turbos are pointless, even if they claim to generate 3 psi, i installed one on my car and i gained no power, maybe a slight increase in mpg's, but the electric turbo was a waste of money.

Electronic superchargers are basically just electronic fans. Unfortunately, a car engine usually pulls in more air by itself than the fan can move. Then end result is that the fan puts all it's energy in to just keeping up with the engine. Eventually, the engine will start asking for air faster than the fan can go and the fan will actually restrict air.

A more conventional belt-driven supercharger will rob your engine of, say for example, 50 horsepower, but it may add about 80-100 horsepower. The end result is 30 horsepower extra. If you can lift the electronic motor that powers the turbine without a forklift, it's probably not more than 5-10 horsepower. If it's the electronic supercharger that I'm thinking of, I would doubt it's more than half a horsepower. It might be able to do 3 PSI, but it won't be able to do it in the volume that your engine will need.
