Well that depends on a variety of things, such as how many years you've been playing, how experienced you are with your instrument, and whether or not your mouth can handle such a dramatic change from a brass instrument to a Saxophone. In a way it is easy but it isn't. Of course its possible to do, but its a challenge for some people. Its basically getting used to the change of embouchure, or in other words the way our mouth is situated to play your instrument (ex: For saxophone your mouth wraps around the tip of the mouthpiece so the mouthpiece actually goes in your mouth, where a Trumpet mouthpiece doesnt enter your mouth at all.) SO yes its possible to play a saxophone is possible to play if you play a brass instrument, it will just take time to get adjusted to.

Why woodwind should be in front of the brass?
I think because the woodwind cant produce that loud of a sound and the brass can... cause i play the trumpets with trombone sitting next to me and saxaphones sitting next to them and all 3 of us produce a sound so load, we cant hear the clarenets and flutes even tho them 2 together have a greater number of players than us brass insterments so in conclusion, the brass play loader than the woodwind insterments
