it's a beginner guitar brand , as long as you think it sounds nice put some new strings on it every other month and keep it in tune , I mean it's 90% the player 10% the guitar that makes it good.
one tip , switch the guitar tuners to a brand such as Grover , Sperzel , Schaller or Gotoh. Good guitar tuners are essential to serious musicians. Try to replace the hardware (parts) with bone if you can as well it's a 10$ (at most) investment but you'll be steps closer to a professional guitar.

∙ 13y agoOK this is a loaded question. My opinion is that even for a beginner, quality is an issue. I have wrapped my hands around a Stagg and I must say for another $100.00 you're better off with an Ibanez or Epiphone. Both companies offer a Les Paul of very good quality for $300.00. When shopping for a guitar you're going to need to get out to a store and try a bunch of different models. In order of importance he are the things I look for in a new guitar. #1. A clean buzz free neck #2. Good sound #3. Good features #4. Well you've got to like the way it looks! Good luck!

But of course, they are much more expensive to keep up with (amplifiers, problems of the electricity inside, amplifier chords.) All in all, acoustic is pretty fun, and electric is a lot of fun if you have the money to keep up with it.

The above answer does recognise though that techniques work best on a certain guitar and you'll find electric guitars have thinner strings with more leverage and bend. You'll also find you won't need to really blast on the strings to get max sound out whilst playing electric as the amplifier will do that for you! To me they seem to have more character than the Taylors, for instance. However many people prefer the cleaner sound and playability of a Taylor.
