Ocean Over Head

Flogging Molly are not Irish, this is something that annoys me alot, they are an American band, nobody in Ireland knows who they are!!!

The Progues

Flatfoot 56 is not irish either they are from Chicago, Illinois

Blood or Whiskey

Flogging Molly was formed in Los Angeles, CA, but Dave King who founded the band is from Dublin Ireland. He moved to the states as an adult, he was in a few bands in Ireland before moving to Los Angeles and starting Flogging Molly.

I'll tell you what Irish punk music is! Irish punk is amazing (in my opinion) that's what it is!

Irish punk, obviously, is a genre of punk music that is based on the Irish sound of music (usually called celtic.) Irish punk music has different types of instruments in them that you wouldn't normally hear in any other kind of regular punk music, these instruments would include things like bango's, Bagpipes, even drum set's and guitar's that are just tuned a different way (and Irish punk music usually has a singer with a bit of an accent.)

If you actually interested in Irish or Irish based punk music I very much suggest you look into bands like Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, Street Dogs, maybe even the Dubliners! Rock on!

I'd say Shipping Out to Boston by the Dropkick Murphys or the song City on A Hill by Flatfoot 56. You also might wanna try checking out the Pogues or Flogging Molly.

Is the song by the who your generation a punk song?

It's actually called 'My Generation', and no, it's not a punk song. It was first released in '64 and was popular with the Mod scene in England at that time (as were The Who in general). It would best be described as general, mid '60s subversive rock music that was taken up by the Mods.
