A trooper under the Patriot act can search a car if they have reasonable suspicion something is wrong. They can also search a car for no reason if they have a warrant from a judge.
There's a reason, for the sunshine. There's a reason, why I'm feeling so high, for the season
It may depend on what state you are in - if you are operating without the interlock the suspicion/assumption is going to be that you bypassed it for a reason. What reason? Probably because you were under the influence and it would not allow the car to start for you. At the very least you MAY be summarily arrested and taken in for a test to determine your sobriety.
If you are talking about driverless or autonomous cars, an internet search indicates that they are still being tested, but there still must be a trained driver behind the wheel. Now, if you are talking about something else, the question would need clarification.

If you are driving the car, then you are officially liable for driving without proof of insurance, but most police will be understanding if you are driving a company car that you didn't know was insured.
No, not with out a warrant
No, they cannot search you without good reason (which could be things like not walking straight) or your permission.
You can search a glove compartment if you have a reason to believe there is something illegal in your car. The Patriot Act greatly expands power of the police to search without a warrant.
Yes they can search it
NO. He can search your car if he has just cause without a warrant.
you can get pulled over for any reason, the police can pretty much just check you out and make sure you are abiding by the law. If you act suspiciously, that gives them reason to search. You have the "right" to decline or disagree, but that will only increase their suspicions to do a search. They can and will detain you while they get a search warrant and the end result with still be a search. Hopefully you have nothing to hide. If you are driving without a license, chances are you don't have insurance either, they can search based on the fact you are breaking one law so chances are you are breaking others. The officer can also impound the car if no one else is with you that has a license to drive the car. Be very careful! Good luck!
Police officers have every right to search you, your car, your house, your bags only with probable cause!
Trooper
With or without your permission, "reasonable suspicion" allows "them" to search your vehicle under almost any conditions. Your lawyer just can't be with you at all times.
yes
legally i do not think so
A search by law enforcement that is not supported by at least articulable reasonable suspicion. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_v._Ohio A search that takes place without a warrant and without probable cause. Probable cause requires a reasonable articulable suspicion that a crime has been committed or is about to be committed. It is more than a mere hunch. For more information, see the related links below.
