they don't actually give you the wiring diagrams for a radio in any cars, because they all want to make money from people somehow, but i rewired my radio in my 95 Ford Ranger XL and i got the wiring diagram from my mechanic that had a program on his computer, it showed everything i needed to know, and I'm writing it on here.
there is 2 separate connectors 8 pin each, one with 5 wire and 1 with 8 wire
the first set is the 5 wires
the live wire (hot at all times) is light green/purple wire
the ground (top center of left fender apron) is black wire
the fused ignition (hot in run) is yellow/black wire
the ilumination (interior lights system) is light blue/red wire
the ground (behind right kick panel) is black/light green wire
the second set is the 8 wires (for speakers)
left front ( - ) orange/light green wire
left front ( + ) Light blue/ white wire
left rear ( - ) tan/yellow wire
left rear ( + ) grey/light blue wire
right front ( - ) white/light green wire
right front ( + ) dark green/orange wire
right rear ( - ) brown/pink wire
right rear ( + ) orange/red wire
yup
It is most likely an integrated part of the radio itself.
The Lone Ranger
I need the color coding for my 1995 Toyota T100 radio harness to facilitate the installation of an after market radio.
Radio is a common noun. It can also be a verb, as you can radio someone if you contact them over a radio system.
You can view the 2000 Ford Ranger Owner Guide online ( which includes the fuse diagram ) at : www . motorcraft service . com ( no spaces ) click on Owner Guides
Replace the radio.
yup
yes
with a crowbar
On a 99 ford Ranger it is located right next the radio on the drivers side behind the dash. Remove the radio and you will see in bolted on the left side of the radio hole.

You can find the 2005 Ford Ranger radio CD player wire color codes in most service manuals. The wire colors are associated as follows; the positive wire is red, the black wire is the ground, the green and yellow wires are speaker wires, and the white wire is the auxiliary wire.
It is most likely an integrated part of the radio itself.
