The Jerry Garcia Band was established in 1975 by Grateful Dead member, Jerry Garcia. The band flourished until Mr. Garcia's death in 1995, existing as one of the most meaningful of his side projects.
Without Jimi Hendrix, I would say that there is no such thing as better because it's all a matter of personal taste and each great guitarist has his/her own style just like each painter is different, but there's no one who's the best. After Hendrix, I would have to say he's the best because no one comes close. It's just like for example you have a hundred super strong men and can't decide who is the strongest, and then a 50 feet giant comes your way. There's no question now who is the strongest.
in the beginning of the '60s were like The Hollies, Herman Hermits, Dave Clark 5, The Monkees, Rolling Stones, The Who, the Yardbirds and then the one that i believe made more impact and change the world Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia from The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Jim Morrison from The Doors, and so many more
Jeremys Camp's nickname is Jerry like Jerry the cat.
There were four keyboardists all together. They all died. Even after the Jerry's death. Vince Welnick the last keyboardist killed himself about 3 years ago. The keyboardists were: Ron McKernan (Pig Pen), Keith Godchaux, Brent Midland. and Vince Welnick. All of the keyboardists met untimely deaths. I interviewed Vince In 1997 and asked him if he was worries about the Curse and he said " I was dying of boredom anyway!" It was a standard answer that he gave to all interviewers. I was supposed to to interview Vince again the day he killed himself. It makes you wonder. Vince was never brought into the family by anyone but Jerry. Vince said that Jerry was like Santa Clause. Anything you needed he made sure you you got.
Yes.

Well a lot of people dress as Santa to make children happy so Jerry Garcia might be one of them. Another answer: GD keyboardist Vince Welnick told me...."Jerry is like Santa Clause, man. If you ever needed anything Jerry was there." So yes, Jerry was Santa for real.

She is so pretty and her name is stephanie Garcia Garcia
Garcia is an hispanic name, which came from Spain.
He was an American mix like most of us: specifically Spanish, Irish, and Swedish. The name "Garcia" came from Spanish (Galican) heritage on his father's side. It's a common misconception that he was part Mexican, because of his last name and the fact that he was born in Texas and lived in California, which are two states with high Mexican populations.
