No...it's all-time 4 wheel drive. You would have to disassemble the drive shaft ,which in turn would leave you with no 4 wheel drive at all.
You can't. The 1994 JGC has Quadra Trac, all the time 4 wheel drive. It should never go into 2 wheel drive. If it does, have your Jeep looked at immediately.
The 2013 Jeep Grand-Cherokee has rear wheel drive.
It depends on the transfer case model number. A 245/247 Quadra drive takes a special fluid from the dealer. All other models take ATF

How do you change the orifice tube on 1997 grand Cherokee jeep with 5.2 v/8
No, there are 5 options available. 2x2 or 4x4: * Selec-trac * Quadra-trac I * Quadra-trac II * Quadra-Drive
It depends on the 4-wheel drive system of both vehicles. Both quadra-drive and quadra-trac II use the same transfer case, called the NV247. If both vehicles have one of those 4X4 systems then yes, they are the same exact case and can be used to replace each other.
It could be part time Select Trac or full time Quadra Trac.

Look for a driveshaft going to the front.
remove frontdrive shaft
It is considered a full time four wheel drive vehicle.
I think it works as a full time four wheel drive system, so it is a true four wheel drive.
Sure, just don't shift it into 4 wheel drive...
This is my question! PLEASE HELP! I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited..4.7L. I know it has for wheel drive but which system? i have the silver pull lever by my shifter that i can put into diffrent gears like (1,2,3) etc..like Low and High Gear But which 4x4 system do i have???? thanks! email me! iapple104@gmail.com Here are the three options for your Jeep: A single-speed transfer case provides convenient full-time four-wheel drive with no transfer case lever to shift or driver interaction required. QuadraTrac II has the new NV245 transfer case for full-time active four-wheel drive, with electronic shift with a true low-range gear and neutral for towing Grand Cherokee behind another vehicle. Quadra-Drive® II has Electronic Limited Slip Differentials (ELSD) for the ultimate in off-road capability, replacing the Vari-Lock progressive axles for quicker response to changing conditions and greater torque capacity.
