Yes it is possible to have an etopic pregnancy without having your tubes cut or tied it is just that the egg gets fertilized in the tube without being in your uterus. It is very painful and scary....it is a simple procedure to have removed but very hard to determine when you dont know if you are pregnant or not

One year after getting my tubes done i had a ectopic pregnancy can you get pregnant tweleve years later and have a baby?

If your fallopian tubes were cut and tied, there is no way you can get pregnant. If you experienced an ectopic pregnancy and did not have your tubes tied again, there is the possibility that you could again get pregnant.

Is getting pregnant in your tubes possible?

Could you have an ectopic pregnancy 3yrs after having your tubes clipped you are now 9 days late and am experiencing pregnancy symptoms and a small amount of clotting?

No. Ectopic pregnancy takes place in the tubes and yours are tied shut. Nine days is nothing in being late for a period. Sounds like you have an infection instead. Go see your doctor.

Chances of full term pregnancy with ectopic pregnancy?

no, there is no way of a full term pregnancy, your tubes can only stretch upto a certain extent, and then they will burst, making internal bleeding, which is extremely dangerous to the mother, possible not being able to have children again, and death of the fetus. If you do have any signs of an ectopic then I would visit your hospital asap, as ectopic pregnancy is very serious.

What and how is ectopic pregnancy happen?

An ectopic pregnancy is when the fertilised egg attaches itself outside the uterus. The most common place where the ectopic pregnancy occurs is the fallopian tubes. Other possible areas where the ectopic could occur are the ovaries, abdomen and the cervix. The cause for ectopic pregnancy is mostly unknown. However endometriosis, any surgery to the abdomen, previous pelvic inflammatory disease all increase the chances of an ectopic pregnancy.

Can a ectopic pregnancy occur if tubes are burned?

Yes, an ectopic pregnancy can still occur even if the fallopian tubes have been burned or damaged, as in the case of a procedure like tubal ligation. While such procedures are intended to prevent pregnancy by blocking or severing the tubes, there is still a small chance that a pregnancy could occur outside the uterus, typically in the remaining or nearby reproductive tissues. It is important for individuals with a history of such procedures to be aware of the signs of ectopic pregnancy and seek medical attention if they suspect one.

When you have your tubes removed cause of an ectopic what is the procedure called is it tubal ligation?

The procedure for removing the fallopian tubes due to an ectopic pregnancy is typically called a salpingectomy, not tubal ligation. A salpingectomy involves the surgical removal of one or both fallopian tubes, while tubal ligation is a form of permanent birth control that involves blocking or sealing the tubes to prevent pregnancy. If the tubes are removed because of an ectopic pregnancy, it’s specifically addressing the medical emergency rather than serving as a contraceptive measure.

What does intrauterine pregnancy means?

Intrauterine pregnancy means that the pregnancy (fetus) is inside the uterus where it is supposed to be and not ectopic (in the tubes or anywhere other than the uterus).

Can a woman have an topic pregnancy if her tubes are tied?

It's possible for a tubal ligation to fail, for the fallopian tubes to grow back together even after being cut. If this happens, an ectopic pregnancy (in which the embryo implants itself in the fallopian tube instead of in the uterus) is possible.

Is it safe to use abortion pills to end an ectopic pregnancy?

No, it is not safe to use abortion pills if you know that you are at risk for ectopic pregnancy. Because you had a tubal ligation, we know there is scarring in your tubes (Fallopian tubes). That’s probably why your last pregnancy was an ectopic pregnancy. The Fallopian tubes are where a female egg is fertilized with a male sperm. The pregnancy starts to grow and move along the tube to the womb. If your tube is scarred, the early pregnancy can get trapped in the tube. As the pregnancy grows, it can cause the tube to break open. If the tube breaks open, this can cause major bleeding inside you, which is life threatening. You are at risk for another ectopic pregnancy. You should not use the abortion pills on your own until a healthcare provider is sure that the pregnancy is in the womb, not in your tubes.
