- There were a massive amount of singers, artists, and bands from the 80's
- Some of them were from the 70's, or sometimes, even the 60's or 50's, that continued to be active in the 80's, which would complicate things.
- Some of them were never even noticed as extremely minor bands, which would distort the real number
- On some instances, some singers, artists, and bands became inactive during the 80's, but still existed.
