pickup covers are usually permanantly attached to whatever pickup they are on. however there are several brands that use pickup covers, PRS (paul reed smith) Gibson, even fender does on some telecaster models. hope this helps - Kyse
Epiphone is to Gibson what squier is to fender. A 'sister' company. Despite this, epiphone were producing instruments before Gibson, but that doesn't matter. High end Gibson instruments are produced in America, as opposed to epiphones which i believe are built in Korea. Gibsons generally feature slightly differing specifications in terms of dimensions and weight. Gibsons also feature higher quality parts, as youd expect from the much higher price. This is not to say that epiphones are bad instruments at all - i have one and it is fantastic. The name on the headstock also alters the price.
