Well...there are trumpets that can run from 9,000-36,00 dollars. However, one trumpet that I know of is the bergeron horn which is mine.It cost 2,000 dollars.I don't know about the most expensive trumpet, but Harrelson make pretty expensive ones - up to roughly 12,000 USD.Oh, and nearly forgot... the 'Dizzie Gillespie's Martin Committee Trumpet' is worth round about $55,000!Yes antique trumpets like Gillespie's would be very valuable, however new ones made are usually 2,500-4,000 USD for an instrument that aprofessional trumpet player would use. Most classical players have trumpets in this price range, however Monette does make trumpets over 20,000 USD, classical players do not usually use monettes, as their customers are predominately jazz players.
Trumpets date back to 1500 BC and before. In Scandinavia, the earliest trumpets were called "lurs." However, since the trumpet was the first of the metal instruments -- originally bronze and silver, now primarily brass -- its predecessor likely was just called a "horn." The first trumpets were developed as signaling instruments for the military and religious ceremonies.
This song starts with a passage from an older one - when the trumpets start to sing.

As far as we know, the earliest trumpets were used for communicating over long distances. Specifically, they were often used on battle fields to relay messages between commanders and units on the field.

I do not know how much packaging tape would cost for you, given state tax fees and all. I would think any brand of packaging tape would be alright. It varies with what your needs are.
