Actually the greatest suicide rates come from listening to country music. Country music focuses on themes most closely related to suicide, such as marriage problems, alcohol abuse, or job/money related issues. They inspire inward hate , whereas rap or hip-hop (falsely believed as the highest suicide rate music genre) express an outward hate that would reflect violent crime onto others as opposed to suicide.

It is unlikely that music is the cause of people committing suicide. If people are feeling suicidal then listening to a depressing form of music can push someone over the edge
Country
People do not commit suicide based on suggestions contained in music. They do so because they are depressed. Trying to blame it on music is just a way of displacing guilt because problems were not recognized and proper steps were not taken.

Well to be honest, I don't live off of music, so I wouldn't care too much! :P Yes, music is enjoyable, and I like it sometimes. But I think some people would die without music, literally wither away or commit suicide. Pathetic.

As in rumors, Lavender Town music made kids commit suicide or go crazy. But as in game play, I'm not so sure. I was most fascinated by the rumors instead.
