present day entertainment is much more entertaining but is extremely grotesque and obscene though the only reason it is this way is because if it wasn't it wouldn't be entertaining. past entertainment, however, is much more family appropriate, probably due to the fact that families were still families back then and not distracted by other forms of "entertainment" such as cell phones and Video Games which I think are both extremely pointless. also thanks to the many forms of present day entertainment 1/3 of the united states population is obese while many years ago we didn't have that problem as bad because people found something to do rather than be a couch potato at look at a box that makes noise and shows you pretty colors (aka the television/cell phone/video game/computer) think about this... when is the last time you went out for a walk? not for a specific reason, but just to walk? i despise computers and such... i would rather be outside moving instead of sitting in this cramped up classroom but I'm stuck because I'm supposed to be working on English..... one more thing for you to think about, government blames the parents for America's children being obese right? so why does the government approve of these new forms of entertainment that don't involve moving? oh, and these new school lunches that are "government approved" are not as healthy as a good home cooked meal.. anyways, totally off topic. i think I'm done here

Most folk music is inspired by the Medieval Era (up to 1450), which saw the rise of cultures and civilizations from the Vikings, Anglo-Saxons, Celts, Moors, and many others. Great artists and composers such as Beethoven, Chopin, Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and Vivaldi were all inspired by Medieval music.
