Demi did not go to rehab because of drug use. She has never drank nor smoked. The reason why she went to rehab really, was because she thought she needed to go there to deal with her problemslike her cutting issue and her eating disorder, which could both be considered as emotional and mental problems. She has a past of being bullied and that might also be a cause. She also might have an anger problem, because of her attack on one of her backup dancers, which was basically the reason she put herself into the rehab facility. She was also on tour before she put herself in the rehab facility, so maybe the stress got to her. The fact that Ashley Greeme was all over her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas who she was on tour with probably got to her too. But anyways, she will get better because she was smart enough to recognize she had a problem, whatever the problem might be, and put herself in rehab. Good luck to her and to her family.
