Led Zeppelin like.. ALL ...other young Brits were not stimulated with the music in England so they couldnt get enough of American blues songs that were coming to their shores, they played these songs and did their own versions of each song they loved,if you listen to any BLUES song that Led Zep covered, it sounds nothing like the original and their first album gave credits to the blues artist they imitated in any way.Led zep regardless of the HATERS was and still is the best Rock and Roll band ever created, with everyone in the band being extremely talented.I grew up in that era,and they were the Gods of Rock and Roll
Led Zeppelin were influenced by many blues artists, but they redid songs specifically by Howlin' Wolf and Willie Dixon. The Lemon Song is based on Wolf's song Killing floor. Dixon claimed that Whole Lotta Love was stolen from his song You Need Love. He sued Led Zeppelin in 1985.
definitely not. rock and roll has deeper routes that go way before led zeppelin was around. rock and roll originated as an alteration of blues. if you listen to some old rock and roll songs, they sound very blues oriented
Robert Plant sings all of Led Zeppelin's songs.
Led Zeppelin is generally considered "blues based", "classic" or "hard rock".
All of the Led Zeppelin songs were written by Led Zeppelin. The members were: Robert Plant (Vocals) Jimmy Page (Guitar) John Bonham (Drums) John Paul Jones (Bass)
Anything by led zeppelin

They signed a deal with Atlantic Records after changing their name from The New Yardbirds to Led Zeppelin.
I couldn't find any evidence of Robert Johnson's estate sueing Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin did however pay a settlement to Arc Music on behalf of Willie Dixon. Then Dixon had to sue Arc music to get his royalties and copyrights. There was another settlement paid to Richie Valen's publisher. Zeppelin revamped lots of old blues classics, there are bits and pieces of them throughout their songs.
Pure Hard Rock and Rock&Roll and some Blues, with some metal and psychedelic background
