These affected areas experience a loss in color and become white, albino like patches. Due to Vitiligo his lips suffered the loss of there natural pigment and color, although it has not been confirmed whether he sought out special care to hide the depigmentation and loss of color in his lips, in his later years. It is safe to say most likely he did due to the seriousness of the skin disorder.
