Yes. In 2007, R&B star Akon was holding an emcee concert in New York, USA. When he was telling a short story about his life in West Africa, a teenage boy named 'Anthony' or something throw an pretzel or some random object at the musician so Akon requested the audience to bring him to the front of the stage. When he reached the front, the boy was trying to handshake the singer but was in a big rage about the object he threw at him so he lifted him up and threw him into the other side of the crowd. The kid landed squarely on a girl and his legs got paralyzed.
