They did not play at Archmere in the academic year 1969-70 - I know because the great concert that year was given by the one hit wonder The Youngbloods - who appeared with great reluctance on stage only after a great deal of coaxing from members of the student body whose fathers were lawyers. Completely stoned, the Youngbloods finally agreed to play their one hit - Something in the Air - to a less than sold out crowd. It was a bitter blow for the student council as that same year Mt Pleasant HS had booked - & timing is everything - Chicago - just before they went platinum. Still, I've always liked the song...Something in the Air....
