I live on Vancouver Island British Columbia Canada.
While canoeing on a local lake yesterday about 100 feet from shore I heard this meow, meow ,like a cat or kitten, I get closer to shore and hear it again meow meow, and I realize a crow sitting about 10 feet up a tree is making the cat calls.
Hence my interest in talking crows and this site
My grandfather a Prairie pioneer in the early 1900's recounted stories where crows flying by would say "gee" and "haw" commands that farmers give to horses pulling
plows etc.
