George Harrison and Ringo Starr were country music fans; Harrison wrote the liner notes to a Chet Atkins album of Beatles cover tunes (Chet Atkins Picks On The Beatles), and Ringo Starr recorded two country albums during his solo career. (One was 1970's Beaucoups Of Blues; the other, recorded in the late 1980s shortly before Starr went into rehab, remains unreleased.)
