I can only speak for my area (jersey) and from my experiences but I think its alot more common for Turkish men to date outside of their nationality than the woman. There is a higher level expectations on the women when finding that suitable mate and its common for daughters to hold of until engagement to reveal their partners to parents. Many Turkish men just coming to the states tend to experiment with dating other nationalities and its a growing trend for the younger generations to stray a little from the traditional norms and many people from Instanbul are more openminded.

I noticed that Turkish woman here usually stick with Turkish men, not to say it does not happen. Turkish woman usually band together and introducing all your family and friends to a Japanese man would be a very different especially when your parents have religious expectations they hope for you. It is really common to see a group of Turkish woman venturing off together than just one to social venues.
